Revamp of what was weedogit

I suddenly find myself with some extra time, which is great!

A result of that is that I have suddenly felt able to begin work on a revamp of what was weedogit. I will refer to the revamp as FirstRibIT for the moment at least. Pupit has now been integrated into my latest firstribit in a modular approach so that it can share the superior funtionality already provided in, what was, weedogit itself.

When I say, ‘modular’, I am working on a special implementation of that, which may also be adopted in all FirstRib build system designs I implement for my family use:

On one hand I am very fond of productions that only involve a single script. In terms of development, usage, and browsing that is very similar to the form of a single html page.

But I also enjoy the optionality provided by ‘plugins’, being addons, such as used by the build_firstrib_rootfs Linux distro build system.

In FirstRibIT, therefore, the system is being designed such that the modular components can be taken out and used as standalone scripts (such as old weedogit and old pupit),

OR used as plugins to a core FirstRibIT system,

OR provided as a single script, for ease of readability and handling, like a large single html page.

As you might notice, I suddenly find much more time to update this blog site - has been a long time since I managed to update it till now…

My audience here, by the way - well, I don't know… but this blog was written and produced for my children.
